Vlad passed away in his sleep, from a short, but severe bout with cancer, during the early morning hours of March 4, 2007.
Vlad will be very much missed by those of us who knew him.
Donations
There are two different avenues Vlad wanted people to consider making donations through.
There is the Community Support Systems of Brandywine, MD, a social services agency that helped him a great deal with paperwork and was much in his thoughts. You can make donations directly to them via PayPal on their website.
The other avenue is for people to find ways of donating money to get trees planted anywhere in the world.
