Bouncisaurs are chubby dinosaurs hosts whose fat is rich with Buoyant Blubber Blastula symbiont, which SEE. Their very fat makes them light enough that their weight it just sufficient for good traction. Bouncisaurs look almost inflated; they are obviously buoyant, and to avoid being blown about by breezes may even have to grasp at the ground or rooted vegetation when chubby. Many supplement their "lofting lard" with hydrogen filled vacuoles in their bones and plates.
Bouncisaurs have the same mass as their non-buoyant cousins, despite their decreased weight; the impact of a moving bouncisaur is just as crushing as that of a regular dinosaur.
Many bouncisaurs have developed flappers or even full-fledged wings to help them control their floating. Technically, these are no "bouncers" but "float-fliers."
