Cameleopardis
Cameleopardis, also called camelopards, have three main varieties, those of desert, plains, and woodland. They are in form very similar to a giraffe, but have head, paws, and tail rather like a cheetah's. They hunt a range of prey, galloping after large animals or snaking their long necks down holes to ferret out smaller prey. Their razor-sharp teeth let them dart in to slice out chunks of flesh from larger prey, which soon bleeds to death, while the camelleopard dances about at a safe distance.
The woodland camelopard is the smallest, often only three meters tall at the shoulder, with a neck somewhat longer. Their smaller size allows them to slip between trees, while their long and supple neck is ideal for poking into hollow trees or raiding nests.
The plains camelopard is the stoutest, while the wiry desert camelopard is the swiftest - and most ravenous. Their pelts are bold and varied, but camouflage them surprisingly well.
